It’s almost fall, but where I live it’s anything but cool & crisp. Cinnamon is a traditional warming spice that I like to pair with a refreshing afternoon beverage when the days are still hot, but the elongated shadows and longer nights hint to change. As if we’re almost there … but not quite.
Please note you will need an 8-cup coffee press for this recipe.
Add coffee and cinnamon to carafe.
Add water, stirring, until combined.
Cover with lid, but do not plunge.
Refrigerate for 8 hours.
Plunge and serve with your favorite creamer.
Store refrigerated.
